Scared to look :-(

Ok so on Saturday after work, my friend texted me to come to this bboy jam close by where I live. The battles were sick and there is a lot of talent uprising here. Now the jam is almost over when a guy with curly hair and the single braid (like in starwars) walks by with some of his crew. I was already interested by their hair because they all had the braid. So I watched to see what they had to showcase. The curly haired guy sat right in front of m to stretch and I noticed him snagging a look as he was stretching but I really didn't do anything but move my eyes away really fast when I saw him looking. Well the jam ended and the night just began for me at that time.

So after a night of partying an hotdrunkenmessness, I rested allday Sunday until I get a call from my friend again asking to go out to the club for his friend's event. So I go and not even 2 minutes after walking in, I see the same guy. This time I got to see him break. He and 3 others were constantly going in the cypher. My friend wanted me to get into the cypher but didn't want to house dance while the guys were breaking (yeah I'm a househead). So I danced as close to the wall as possible without stepping into the cypher. All the while I look up and I see him starring across the room as I dance so I stopped immediately and was a bit shy to move. When we made eye contact my heart raced and I tried to advert them but couldn't for some reason. The problem was when he was close by I couldn't speak or make a facial gesture, all I could do was dance. I was scared that if I went and talked to him, I would have said something that I would have regreted or probably nothing at all :-(.

So when I danced he watched from a far and then when he went I didn't the same, it was like we were having a conversation without using words. I could only move as best as I could since house music wasn't on but I feel like a connection was partway there. We never spoke or even soo much as said hi but the conversation we had with each other through dancing was one of the most auxillerating feelings I've ever had. He was very much attractive to me but more so when that connection was shared. I also got the pleasure of seeing him battle that night, he almost won but missed it by 1 round. Again, I was impressed.

Some would say I'm reading too much into that but once you've felt like your body is conversing with another without having to touch them or speak, you will know what I mean. Everytime I think about it my heart feels that same feeling. Wish I knew his name :/.

Quite a few: One time with this guy we locked eyes gave each other that consistent nod with synchronized breathe and shot into a Hindemith sonata.
He was on oboe and I was on piano. Let me tell you; It wasn't that magical.

-However, I used to feel this way as well dancing in my youth after consuming large quantities of MDMA.

Are you sure he didn't want to battle you?

Idk but a househead battling a bboy would be almost impossible to judge, 2 different styles and 2 different ways of judging. But who knows maybe he just wanted me to join the cypher. The moment was there. I know I won't see him again so I got over the thought of him that night, just never danced and connected with someone like that before even if he did want to battle.

Yeah I've never taken drugs (nor will I ever), but I can't wait to exerience a connect of any kind similar to it again. I might even say something haha
