How much weight training should I do to lose fat?

    I've had this belly fat for a really long time, and I really want to lose it. Last week, I was experimenting with my workouts and performing a lot of trial and errors to see how my body can handle exercising, since I'm still a beginner in all this. But I actually want to start building a workout plan now and move away from the trial and error runs.

    For cardio, my plan is to do it 3-4 times a week for 45 minutes each session. But as far as weight lifting goes, I'm not sure how to approach it. Should I train specific body parts on certain days? So for example maybe legs/back on monday, biceps/triceps tueday, etc. Or should I work out my entire body maybe two times a week?

    Which workout plan would be better if I'm trying to lose weight?

    Entire body at least three times a week.
