From too many calories to not enough?

    So After sorting my gym habits out I started on my diet but there's a problem.....

    I just thought cut calories down to 1000 a day for a few months but after reading on here about body going into starvation mode and holding onto fat ect I'm wondering will this work? I was just thinking like surely it must still work? I mean I'm eating 1000 calories a day wan workout out at the gym daily so surely I will loose weight at a pretty decent weight?

    Up your calories to 2000/day and be patient. If you lose weight too fast, your skin won't be able to shrink fast enough, and it'll start to sag around your waist.

    2000 calories seems alot? I'm still eating breakfast and dinner

    I.e yesterday I had porridge and then lasagne for dinner

    Also do you think I should drink protien shakes now or wait till I'm skinnyier and then try them?
