Mujer Contra Mujer from Mecano and Anna from Mana are really beautiful songs. Mana is from a South American country, no? Mecano from Spain. But let's not forget Gypsy Kings. Simply killer on all levels.
Hidden member	Apr 12, 2008 9:14 PM GMT Mana from Mexico and Rayando el Sol is a poignant song for me. (it is why I actually got my tribal sun tattoo) mecanno from Spain, Mallorca to be precise, my favourite song has to be Puerto del sol, but Me cole un Fiesta is a real great pick me up song.

She's just damned hot and ambitious...some of her English-language stuff is a little clunky, but the Spanish stuff I can't understand a word of...whatever she's singing about, she makes it sound good.

Then she moved to Bogota, and then "Pies Descalzos" came out We were all like "Whoa"... Her BEST CD is "Donde Estan Los Ladrones?" Her second is her MTV Unplugged She's gotta be my favorite because I've literally seen her going consistently against all odds chasing her dream And she finally got it. I mean, she was just a girl writing love songs for guys she liked, in some city of some third world country. Look at her now... I admire her as a human, as a thinker, as an artist and as a person. We had the same philosophy teacher too, how weird is that
