Fox News, which thrives on its viewers' fears and bigotry, was bound to see a decrease.

    I hope they died.
Although an awful lot of dead people seem to vote Republican...

I didn't know they were dead, I just thought their thinking processes had stopped around the age of 2.

Just in case anyone cares about, I dunno, the facts - which apparently none of you do:

As usual you don't have the facts you purport to have.

What You "forgot" to mention is that Fox News is so far ahead of the other two that if fox dropped 50% and the others rose by 100% Fox would still be ahead.

You also "forgot" to mention that according to the Huffington Post 12 of the top 15 cable news shows are on Fox News, and at least one of those is a repeat of a show run earlier in the evening. .

Since you never actually seem to have the facts about what you are trying to discuss, I wouldn't expect you to have them this time either.

The graphic is pretty, even if it is completely misleading.

Geez once again you missed the entire point of the post
It's not who has the highest or lowest RATED show or shows

................................. it's who LOST or Gained viewers recently

Now you sure you got it this time ?

    You sure? icon_wink.gif

    About "mediaite.com"

"The site combines editorial content with analytic rankings of media personalities."

    Facts? LMAO
I wouldn't use this as a 'factual' information site..

Fox news didn't lose any losers.
However....CNN did...both their readers AND their anchors!
Within the last three years at least three main anchors dumped CNN and went to fox news....the most powerful name in news. Period. Slam dunk

Fox news I think has pissed off people besides the liberal minded. In fact, right now I think a lot of conservatives are pissed at them over this:

    http://www.celebritymagazines.co.tv/fox-news-confuses-sarah-palin-and-tina-fey-in-graphic-gaffe-video/

"David Clark, a Fox News executive producer, responded to the visual gaffe in a statement: “This past Sunday during ‘America’s News Headquarters,’ a graphics error was made during a segment on former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The producer has since been disciplined and an explanation and apology will be made in the same hour next Sunday. Fox News regrets the error.”

Fox News instituted a “zero tolerance policy” for on-screen errors in 2009 after images of gigantic crowds were incorrectly paired with news stories about Tea Party protest rallies, giving the appearance that more people attended than actually did.

Despite the policy, the network has been having some trouble with the graphics department in recent weeks. After the Osama Bin Laden killing, a Nevada Fox affiliate published a graphic which mistakenly read that Obama Bin Laden had been killed."

    Non-issue.

Socal, it's hardly a non-issue when they can't follow their own zero-tolerance policy.

"Fox News instituted a “zero tolerance policy” for on-screen errors in 2009...."

Zero tolerance does not mean mistakes will never be made. It means the mistakes will not be tolerated and in response to any such mistake, a combination of discipline and / or process improvement will be implemented. True in broadcast as well as other industries. Appears they are not ignoring it, so again, non-issue.

Lol. Whenever I post in a GQ started thread, it's to reply to something someone else wrote. If I think about replying to him directly, it would be a condescending put-down, so I usually walk away instead.

Generalities that only state your BELIEFS only make you look more foolish than you actually are

    As for this original post
ITS NOT overall ratings ......... ITS THE LOSS OF VIEWERS

Second time I needed to clarify to the dimwitted

    Do we need a third?

Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN are all going to die in the years to come. CNN started it 1980 and only 31 years later, cable news is already the old way to get news and appeals to the age group that is not popular with advertisers.
