Anyone know of a gym that still has open/communal showers in the locker room? How about a steam room? Thanks!

Don't most? Shouldn't be too hard to find one. I find 'em creepy. My gym finally put up partitions; now I'm a lot more likely to use the showers since it limits how much the trolls stare.

There is one in Atlana that i visit occasionally. Its a primarly gay owned and operated, they have semi open showers. Small partisions about 5 ft high and no doors. they also have a steam and saunia.

All the gyms I frequent have communal showers and steam rooms. A breeding d for athletes foot and bacteria if you ask me.

The YMCA in South Tampa does. Probably part of why hardly anyone ever used it when I used to go there! icon_lol.gif

All the Greater Wichita YMCA's are all awesome facilities and are beyond that, but I understand the YMCA in Salina still has open showers.... the facility is a little dated, has more of a 1970's feel according to my bf.

The Push in S. Lake Tahoe has a glass front sauna that faces the showers. So you can get heated up and watch a show at the same time.

The YMCA I go to in north Topeka has 2 communal shower rooms. It doesn't really seem to bother anyone.

The Ballys in Chicago do, and all the gay trolls face inward looking over everyone....it's awkward
