It seems like the NAGAA were trying to do the right and fair thing in making sure that the proper and agreed upon number of non-fully-gay players were on the team - and that they made a bad decision in deciding to enforce the rule rather than change the rule

But, the fact that the NAGAA have now changed their rule to allow the inclusion of an unlimited number of bisexual and transgendered players on the teams would seem to have corrected the problem.

Hopefully, the three players who were cut will be invited back on the team.

Thats the problem. People want to deny us Gold Card Gays an existence, and blur the boundaries. If there is a club for Gold card gays, yes it does exclude our half brothers, and since they already have more rights than us, I don't see why they would get their jocks in a knot, as we are not one of the same.

Remember our half brothers the bisexuals are also half straight, unlike us Gold Card Gays. So this would make a Gold Card Gay in the army more manly, butch than a bisexual one. icon_wink.gif

Help our half brothers Feel the PRIDE and support our half brothers and their banner/flag the Bisexual Pride Flag, I have one on order, and await shipment, to fly for them.

Yes but not a Gold Card Gay; the real thing! Because you have done the nasty with women, and the abuse I have received from you for you doing soicon_question.gif

But there is nothing elites, superior about us, we are just diffrent to our half brothers, as we are different to their other half brothers the straights; but we are exclusive.icon_wink.gif

But the exclusion dose not exclude for colour, race, size, IQ, the guy above or below, looks, political standing, status, we are all equal in being a Gold card Gay. What excludes you is ever doing the nasty with a member of the opposite sex, as we are not one of the same.

So if us Gold Card Gays want to behold a sports group just for us, thats fine, just as lesbians exclude men from many of their clubs, as we are not one of the same; we are not women.icon_wink.gif

To all my half brothers. Please know I behold no contempt towards you because you are so. Just as I behold no contempt towards straight me, in fact I have more straight mates, than I do gay ones.

Back to the subject at hand. I long for the day when gay men will realize the goal is not ghettoization but integration. I thought the idea of gay sports leagues was to have a place where gay and bi athletes compete while being open about their sexuality. I can't for the life of me understand why they would want to exclude non-gay athletes as long as those athletes know what they are joining. I even think the two hetero limit is counterproductive. As long as it is perfectly clear this is a gay league why have any limit at all? Gay men are NOT athletically inferior to straight men! It seems like that limit implies that there is some unfair advantage if you let those big mean straight or bi boys on your team. It sounds like a lot of poor sportmanship to me.

But part of that is due to the fact that some of the teams were going and recruiting these excellent straight players to stack the deck. Kudos to the players that want to play.

I don't blame the other teams that say that shit isn't fair. The softball teams and games are supposed to be fun,and the rules followed. But we all know how competitive gay men can be.

I still don't see the problem unless they are paying them are doing something equally stupid. A real competitor wants real competition.

Here's an example from person experience: In high school I ran track and cross country for a small private school with 48 people in my graduating class. In track we ran only against other private schools and I took the state meet. I would be lapping these nerdy kids and still couldn't get my mile time low enough. At the state meet I got it down to 4:38. In cross-country we ran against the public schools and had a great team because the basketball and tennis players could run since it was off season. We were so good the public schools tried to bar us from the all-county race. I came in third in that race but the guys I consitently beat at the public schools were doing 4:10 and 4:15 mile times when track season came and I had beaten them by passing them on the last mile of the x-country race. It's not about winning but doing your personal best. So if those teams are finding straight guys with game but who are cool playing with gay men I don't see the problem.

My dirty mind sees the potential for a very hot porn flick. Imagine closeted straight guy joins gay team and has to prove his gayness by having sex with the team!

Attitudes are changing, but things are still not where they should be. Gay men are still being bashed, and some even sought out and killed during internet hook-ups.

To a certain degree, there still needs to be a segregation. In a few years, yes, things will change and clubs will truly be gay and non-gay.

And I agree with everything you said. And it should have been about playing your best, and not winning at any cost. From what I read, some of the questionable teams were recruiting this superb straight players to stack the deck on their teams. Whereas other teams had followed the rules, and had played fairly all season. If that were the case, the other teams should have done the same thing. IMO, I equate it taking steroids.

You equate having a "straight" man on a "gay" mens team as one of the "gay" men taking steroids?

Straight men are not to same-sex attracted men as men are to women. It's only when you use the definition of gay in that it's a bunch of men that behave like women where I can see where your steroid analogy comes in.

If you try to go to a black church, more often than not you won't feel welcome. It's because it identifies as a black church.

If you go to a lesbian biker bar, more often than not you will feel the cold angry stares of a bunch of biker lesbians.

If you join a church that excludes gay people, you sure as fuck won't be welcome.

I get the whole integration thing, but sometimes you just want to do something around other gays. I know there are a lot of guys on this site that hate on the gay community, complain about everything that being "gay" is something they hate, and barf about the fem guys while defending the closet queers, but the bottom line is that it we have a right to be able to have a league full of people who are gay because our whole lives we have been around groups that exclude (either directly or by culture) gay people.

We spend our entire lives in sporting groups who are so anti-gay it fucks with our heads, so if one day we grow up and create a sport group that is full of nothing but gays, that is our fucking business and our right. They can whine somewhere else. Cry me a fucking river.

And if straight guys don't like that, they can pick any number of endless sports leagues for straight guys.
