    Turn off.

Unless they're a professional driver and we're out in the country or something.

On a motorcycle and back roads, yes. In a car, no.

In a closed course or on a track - yes.

On the open road or especially in a neighborhood - absolutely not.

I have a high performance motorcycle, Suzuki GSX-R1000 and a high performance car: Corvette with custom built engine, supercharger, etc. The guys I know who really know how to ride or drive are very responsible and conservative away from closed courses or tracks. They know what they can do and don't have to showboat.

Not really... one's style of driving doesn't really attract me to them.

In cars not really. But on a close circuit? bikes only. I have a "special" new friend that own and race with his Ducati 999. He looks pretty hot doing it. Not that he doesn't look hot when he's not racing but... yeah, Bikes. Yes. Cars. No.

That's smart & mature. I never drive fast & irresponsibly on busy public roads. I kinda stretch things on deserted back roads with motorcycles. But in traffic I'm very tame, no matter what I'm driving, so much so that my partner grouses that I drive "like a granny." LOL!

Huge turnoff. Personally, I find it quite disgusting. I've made guys who are idiot drivers stop and let me out of the car. Not criticizing those who do personally, as to each their own. Just not for me.

In AZ you get those stretches of desert where its very little traffic. Our speed limit on I-10 is 75. You can easily go over 85. Just dont get caught. You get whats called a criminal speeding ticket.

I used to drive fast...really fast!! I once got a ticket on the Denver/Boulder Turnpike doing 145 mph in my Shelby GT500. The cop told me another 5 mph and he probably wouldn't have been able to catch me....icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

NOTE: I was alone and NOT trying to impress anyone.

A guy was showing off when we were driving on the mountain roads in Big Bear. I kept telling him to stop, while he was trying to drift and he told me to "chill" and that he did it all the time. He lost control of the car and we spun out and almost went off the side of a cliff.(the back tire right tire was literally 2 inches from the edge) I punched the fucker in the side of the head and walked back to Big Bear to meet up with some friends who were there too. I never talked to that guy again...

Fast driving to show off infuriates me. I want to arive alive and don't want to fuck with other road goers either!!!!icon_evil.gif

Movies and video games make it look sexy. But in reality I hardly enjoy sitting or watching some drive fast recklessly in an unsecured environment. Too many variables.
