I do bikram yoga (done in hot room with 104 degrees) every other day. Some of the postures require a lot of muscle strength to pull and stretch. Specially this pose:

Note that, you are actively supposed to kick the foot back into the hand and hold it there. I cannot find strength to kick my foot back into the hand. I pretty much "hold" my leg with my hand barely kicking back. I can do it little better with my right leg that my left leg. I have NO strength or flexibility in my left leg! Anyone else has this problem. What can I do to help this?

Do you happen to use your right leg more than the left? Idk how...

Build up your left leg with normal weight lifting exercises

I would see a physical therapist and get some advice on what appears to be the problem.

Thats is a pretty advanced asana.

I'd say from personal experience that it could be a quad / hamstring problem - theres a lot of exercises you can do to strenghten them, squats with light weights etc - good luck.
