What are your thoughts on enemas? Are they healthy? Are they unhealthy? Do you find them therapeutic, erotic, harmful, or disgusting?

They are a staple of alternative therapy. I know people who swear by a coffee enema (cream, two sugars) but actual doctors scoff at them, and rightfully so. They can throw your intestinal flora off balance. But, the occasional enema wont disturb things too much.

As for things erotic. Well, there are people who live for it, and a lot of them considering the amount of space supplies take up on a sex toy site.

Loss of gut flora could be a problem but, if proper probiotics are taken it should be better for the intestines.

Coffee enemas are supposed to have an affect on the liver and aid in ridding the body of toxins. I think cream and sugar would just feed gut flora and make for some really explosive ... results.

The problem with probiotic supplements is that they have a handful of strains of bacteria in them, where as your intestines have many, many more and in different locations. Additionally, the science is till out if probiotic supplements even get to where they are supposed to be going. But then, if you cram a pill up your butt that is one way to deliver the goods.

And yes, the sugars in my latte enema would feed those gut flora in a bad, bad way. Straight up coffee is the way to go.

coffee enemas? are you guys serious?

I empty probiotic capsules into my last enema (in a series of enemas)to bypass the stomach juices. I was under the impression however that Lacto-Baccilus is capsulated. (Naturally) So, I take them orally too. I have them going in from both sides.

I usually only do enemas on the weekends, that's when I really need them. I like to be nice and clean for my Tops.

I do let the coffee cool down before I add it to the enema bag though.
