Gonna go see her this Friday. I've heard mixed reactions to her live shows with some people saying it's awesome and some saying she can't carry a tune to save her life.

Anyone see her on tour yet? How was it?

Btw, did any guys in the crowd wear peacock feathers to the show? Was thinking about doing that! icon_eek.gif

Nope. I'm a bad gay. Robyn performed at a concert hall in walking distance of my house this last weekend and I did not even go to that.

nay. Love her as a singer, but she's not a good live performer. Really dull and boring on stage.

Robyn was in town at a kind of small place called Royal Oak Music Theater this past Friday as it was Motor City Pride weekend. Only $20 to get in but still did not interest me.

That has to be one of her least inspired performances. I'm hoping for something more like this where she seemed to be having a good time.

She's not a LIVE artist, more of a studio artist, where they tune and perfect your vocals.

I was happy when I found out the tickets for the show were only $45. So nice to have an artist not charging $100 plus for a concert!

Saw her tonight and have to say that the girl actually puts on a pretty good show. Where else are you gonna see a singer with blue hair float above the audience on a pink cloud while playing an acoustic guitar? She seemed really energetic the whole way through. Her voice. It was okay. But this was really more a show about the spectacle of watching dancing cats, gingerbread men, and "whipped cream" being shot out over the audience with a giant Bazooka. If you like her music and enjoy a little bit of whimsy, it's worth checking out her California Dreams tour.
