Ok, so I am on the fourth week of P90X and I have taken supplements, stopped taking supplements, trying to eat healthier and doing all my workouts to the best of my ability but I wonder if it's working....

I started P90X and i was taking some why protein powder and some caffeine diet pills while eating healthier portions. Then I realized that my powder had ton of carbs in it so I stopped doing it and resorted to turkey jerky for my after workout protein.

As you can see in my picture, I have some extra "love" on my mid-section literally like a tire that creates a little mowhill and my love handles just suck!!

I just don't know what to do.... and I know I sound impatient which is because I am!!! But I just want to make sure I am doing this right!

So should I take the protein with tons of carbs if I want to lose the belly of hatred? Should I do more than just the daily workouts to get better results?

    HELP HELP HELP!!!

    Ditch your current diet.
Google the Paleo Diet and you'll see progress.

Four weeks is a blink of the eye when it comes to a transformation. Just make sure your routine has enough intensity (kicks your ass), get a good diet (like Paul said) and give yourself time!

I've seen the results of P90X and proper diet on a friend of mine that dropped from 210 to 185 in about 3 months while keeping most of his lean mass. Now he is dealing with excess skin! Best of luck to you!

Those TV diets are a fad. Get real advice from a neutritionist and a trainer, really.

With P90X you need to make sure you drink the Recovery drink after your workouts. Also make sure you are doing the AbRipperX video on your weight training days. As for Whey protein shakes, I cut them out and replaced them with lean chicken and turkey. I'm still in the process of doing P90X, but my waist size has decreased since starting.

Also, as others have said, give it some more time.

P.S. I have one Shakeology every day as well. That's an excellent source of protein, vitamins and digestive enzymes to help keep your digestive system in order so that you are absorbing your food (fuel) properly.

Those two sentences dont go together if you are serious. Body transformations will teach you patience if nothing else, and if you refuse to learn it, then homeostasis will kick your ass and you will fail.

Also, work on your self-image, because you arent fat, you arent even overweight. Yes, you dont look like many of the guys on this site, but that just puts you in with 99.5% of the population.

You dont have to hate the way you look in order to improve it, in fact if the opposite is true, you'll be more successful.
