Omni-blade (zing). Honestly though, after I saw the game play video of Mass Effect 3 where shepeard breaks cover to turn his Omni-tool INTO A FREAKING BLADE kind of made the wait unbearable..

The PSVita is kind of blowing my mind.

I've secretly already planned out my class for SWTOR icon_redface.gif

Dang, i havent seen those! - will check right now!!! -

I'm actually excited for ffxiii (even though I hated the original)

I came twice when I saw the trailer for Tomb Raider and twice again when I saw the gameplay...Her vulnerability makes it so epic!

And of course, Uncharted 3, will be a great addition as well!!! I kinda flipped when I saw a ring on Elena Fischer's finger icon_smile.gif

The new Tomb Raider kind of reminds me of Disaster Report. It was this series of games where a huge natural disaster happened and you have to get out alive. It was really cool because your only real enemy is the environment

The latest one was canceled due to the earthquakes in Japan, a video game about natural disasters in Japan right now just seemed like poor taste.

    Prototype 2
    Looks totally awesome!

    Ninja Gaiden 3
Fingers crossed they don't screw it up like they did with NGS2 but looks very promising!

I was watching trailers on my 3DS last night, and despite the overall mediocre showing this E3 has been for all major developers/console guys, I'm pretty stoked about the new Mario 3DS and Luigi's Mansion.

PSVita is cool, already have it preordered, but suffice to say I'm only buying the thing for Uncharted and hopefully abuse its media capabilities, not to mention if the firmware gets hacked again.... this will be the best portable emulation machine on the planet. Being able to play all my PS2 games on the go? HELL YES.

Aside from that I'm pretty eh about things, though I haven't checked out much of the PC games shown/announced and I've heard that PC has had its best showing in a while this year.

...but I thought you already owned an iPad/Xbox 360....

*For those of you that do not know.... The clips of the games shown during Nintendo's Press Release were actually of the Xbox 360/PS3 version- Nintendo's port should look similar to those.
The tech is pretty dated so I'm guess the console will be about $200 + $150 for the remote. icon_smile.gif

The new Kirby game looks interesting enough- it might not be as pretty as Prince FluffKirby's Epic Yarn- but I'm sure it'll be 100x more entertaining.

The Wii U wont come out for another year and a half. The technology is already out dated, The CPU and GPU are comparable to the PS3 but by the time it comes out, PC gaming will far surpass whatever Nintendo can do. Investors apparently arent as "wowed" by the new gimmick er-hmmm console, and Nintendo's stock price dropped 7.5% today. I like Nintendo but I dont have time to play video games, especially the ones that are aimed at kids. Nintendo hasnt discussed a price but Iwata announced that it would be more than $250 which is not a surprise.

the wii u and the vita are pretty interesting except vita doesn't really seem too different from psp. other than that i thought it was pretty dull.

still waiting for something to justify the original 600 dollar price tag on ps3, don't think it's going to happen.

Whaaat?! Front and back multi touch screens (the front is an OLED display), 2 sticks, motion sensing, a front and back facing camera, vast augmented reality abilities, and pretty damn close to current gen home system graphics for $250?

    Sold.

I only played the first one and the other one known as "Raw Danger"

The rest were PSP exclusives (except 4 which is still canceled but was set to be a PS3 exclusive) Honestly, 1 was nothing special but the concept alone keeps it in my top 10.

Halo 4. I've been playing that franchise since I was ten.

The Kinect + Fable. I don't like Fable, but just knowing that when I rub my hands together and throw them out throws a fireball or whatever, that's awesome.

Aaand, MW3. Just because it's super popular, and I love owning the haters online. I love my mic!

Kirby is the one thing Nintendo has always done right (except you Epic Yarn). On paper it shouldn't work. It's super easy, over the top cutesy, shallow game play mechanics, and yet I can never put it down. Ever.

Is right up there with slykicks and gargoyles on the scale of evil/ungodliness.

I own a wii as well, well its technically my bf's but we live together so whatever.

Yes the renders showed at the E3 were from XBOX and PS3 which is the funny part since most people were saying the graphics were horrible lol. The system was just announced to be released next year so there are not games ready for it yet. The console seems to be pretty powerful though judging for the video they showed of a bird flying in a Chinese garden. The havent said anything about the price of the remote but considering it has a massive screen on it itll certainly cost over $100.

Yes... but what does all that mean? What can you really do with it?

    ::drool::

    Yeah...................................
The cameras' resolution is only 640x480 or 0.3 megapixels- like the 3DS.

Epic yarn was never meant to be a Kirby game. They included him so that it would sell more copies. Would you have considered it if it wasn't for Kirby?

Apparently the "controller" doesnt come seperately from the system. They are only sold together and not seperately (system and touch-screen). I dont think any of the videos showed more than 1 Wii-U pad being used during gameplay. It is compatible with the wii-motes so thats nice, no need to run out and buy new controllers. I think 70% of the price of the new console will go towards the costs of the touch-screen controller, that thing doesnt look cheap at all..

    guesing its gonna cost $349.99-$399.99

and the 3DS will get a price drop to $179-199.99 when Wii-U comes out.
