I began shaving my legs for cycling but have added shaving basically everywhere. I love the feeling of soft, smooth skin all over my body but wonder if it's a turnoff for others. Comments?

Well I have a very hairy chest, it would be a little hard... it is enough to shave my face.. fortunately I have hair where its good to have it and none where its a turn off.

Glad I don't have much on my back.

I like my hairy chest and legs, but sometimes looking at a guy with shaved legs is a turn-on for me.

Never a turnoff, never. That said, a 'dusting' of hair is also never a turnoff. I have a friend who said that everytime he fooled around with his wookie-esque boyfriend, he'd constantly be picking hair out of his teeth. Not so fun.

Au natural, man, come as you are, as long as you're comfortable with who that person is. There's nothing sexier than confidence, as long as it doesn't border on arrogance.

Isn't the stubble uncomfortable right after shaving, though? I'd think it'd be easier to wax...

I like to shave myself but it's a lot of work to keep it up. I focus on keeping my upperbody and groin area shaved and once in awhile I'll do everything. I really like it when the guy I'm with has their groin area shaved and I also find that I like guys who are smooth all over, too.

I used to shave all over but my current boyfriend likes me hairy, so, I have legs like an ape now.
I prefer to be shaved. I'm quite sexually active and a few years ago some bozo gave me the crabs and damnit, crabs like hair.

I'm moderately hairy, have been since midway through high school. Started getting teased about it when i ran cross-country (with the paper-fabric singlets) so i started shaving my chest/stomach. From that point, I kept it shaved unless I got really lazy and let it grow out a bit (usually during winter in between cross-country and track). Around college time, my first two bfs used to tease me about it when it grew out so I kept it shaved. I guess you'd say I've been self-conscious about being hairy since 16.

Nowadays, I've had a lot of compliments from keeping my chest/ab area neatly trimmed, makes me look less like im 16-17 and closer to my age. In regards to guys im attracted to, smooth ones attract me first but if you keep it maintained and non-forest like myself, me gusta!

I used to shave it all down every once in a while...it's an odd feeling! Now I generally just keep it clipped down to a nice, neat length. Usually when I clip my head I clip everything else.

I have never shaved all over, it would take too much time. When I was taking protease inhibitors for HIV I lost a lot of hair, including nearly all the hair from my legs (that is one of the side effects). I did not like it much. When I went off the drug it all came back in its' dark hairy splendour!

My partner is Filipino and has very little body hair. His legs do have a nice smooth feel, but I would not care if he had hairy legs to be honest.

I have hairy calves. I tried shaving it all off once, in spurt of rebellion, but when it started to grow back, it seriously itched. Generally though I like hairy more than smooth. icon_razz.gif

Ah...now we're touching on the "manscaping" phenomenon

Being the Italian that I am
    I am naturally hairy chested
    and have hairy legs

While I don't usually shave my legs
I do shave my chest .... depending on the "look" I want
I kinda look at it as a natural accessory icon_cool.gif

No I haven't, and since I feel that life will deal me enough pain to begin with I don't go looking for it!

I can't stand it when guys shave their pubes. It makes me wonder why someone wants to look like a prepubecent boy. Big turn off.
On the other side, guys who don't at least trim down there are also a turn off. I dont want to go down and end up with a mouth full of hair.

I'm not a fan of completely smooth pubic area. Trim is definitely necessary, as with any area of the body that contains a jungle of hair. I used to clipper shave my chest, but now I prefer to trim it down so that it doesn't stick up. I think a bit of hair shows comfort with one's own body. It also makes you a look more masculine and mature.

Razor shaving can open up the skin to STDs. Most guys don't think about that. I rather take my chances with the hairy dude.

I like to trim my chest. I am also a hairy Italian, so I like some control. I like the feel of some hair. I clip my legs and arms a couple times a year. Just regular mainentance. I like the way my body looks with a light covering of hair. Not a wooly rug.

Shaving is a no no for me. Used to do it for swimming. It workd for some guys, but I would prefer a naturally smooth guy to a shaved one. Plus, have you ever gotten gay bar rash from someone rubing past you with chest or back stubble? OUCH.

Shaved my legs once and felt like a chick.. I like hair on my legs. all places its not hot are taken care off otherwise I think a guy with hair legs or arms is sorta hot in moderation.

I'm however not fond of guys who have crazy pubes.. "Somebody gas up the weedwacker, it looks like I got Don King in a leg lock" icon_eek.gif

I love naturally smooth guys but I think shaving other than your face if you are extremely hairy is probably a turnoff to guys that like hairy bodies and the course stubble is annoying to touch.

My smooth freind that love hairy guys tell me not to shave legs, chest arms etc,
