And it's obnoxious. When people realize that things like this only make her stronger?

I agree that a little more substance and less slander would make for a better case against her. And gawd knows there is one.

I have to admit, I just started laughing, which is generally my response with most of the things she does or the degree of reaction. It's more a joke
than anything else..... but I disagree with Todd's assessment of course.

How does she get stronger? By rewriting history? Making up words? Playing the victim card? Quitting the governor position mid-term? Losing a major election?

I wouldn't call these signs of strength.

Any day now, the State of Alaska is supposed to release a whole bunch of her emails from when she was Governor. That's very likely to give her "vacation" bus 4 flat tires.

Getting elected to Governor is a sign of strength. Being chosen one of only two women in history as a V.P. candidate is a sign of strength. She doesn't so much "play the victim" as she is victimized constantly with some of the most vile treatment in politics -- ever. Quitting the Governorship? A weaker woman would not still be standing, and yet Sarah Palin is still standing. Losing a major election? Many great leaders have at one time lost an election. Sarah Palin keeps on plugging away because she is a strong woman. That may not make her "Presidential" but it has kept her in the news and she doesn't appear to be showing any signs of going away anytime soon. So Sarah Palin boarded a bus dubbed "The One Nation Tour" and took her followers on a guided tour of some historical sites in America during Memorial Weekend that gave America its foundation --- HOW DARE SHE!! So Sarah Palin loves her country --- HOW DARE SHE!!!! I will say it again --- her critics only serve to make her stronger.

With this statement, I thought you might be trying to protect us from Her.

Then with your second post it's obvious you are a pretty big fan.

Absolutely disagree. She quit the governorship and is "still standing" as you put it because she a greedy woman, plain and simple. If she wanted to "be stronger" as you contend, she'd have done (and do) her homework on specific topics before she embarasses herself in public. That alone "weakened" her as any legimate candidate in my eyes a long time ago...

Time to cash in. Her latest tour is simply to remind citizens she is still relevant (which is debatable) and to keep other "far right" candidates
on notice that she's still a part of the conversation, however twisted.
Her departure from the governorship has been a huge cash cow for her.
It's about her ego and cash. I think it would be clear to most.

Since when is turning one's own notoriety and success into a lucrative career considered "greedy". Like most Americans, Sarah Palin has to survive, pay the bills, help support a family, etc. That she is considered a "greedy woman" for doing this speaks volumes as to the petty nature of her detractors. Why should she not be successful and make millions if she is able to? Good for her! I hope she does another bus tour during the Independence Day holiday in July and rolls right through Wichita, Kansas so you can see her up close and personal icon_lol.gif
