One night I was in some kind of "mainstream" chatroom or other when I wrote something about either my - or some other guy's - "tit(s.)" Right away I got piled on from all directions and hit with all the typical usual anti-gay slurs, just for using that word. WTF??? As far I knew and still know, it's a unisex term that everyone says. There isn't much else commonly recognized except "nipple" and the obvious contraction "nip(p.)"
Since when has referring to a guy's "tit" set off gaydar?

Hmmmm, that's news to me. Personally, I prefer tits to nipples.
    Nipples sounds so....ummm...feminine???

I rarely hear it being said about men except for "man titties".

I don't find it an attractive word to use usually because it makes me think of saggy pecs or female boobs. Nipples sounds more unisex IMHO.
