Nothing like being 10 miles from home in the middle of a major storm outbreak.
Had to chair a men's chorus committee meeting, we had it at my Episcopal church in near east Wiichita . Everything hit at once. Baseball sized hail,
tornadoes, wild shit including 70 mile an hour winds. Got home in one piece.

I had hoped to have stopped past the gym, but I noticed they had ushered everybody out as I passed coming home. I notice it is starting to hail now.
My beagles are not happy either... LOL

Yah... Exactly why I live in Arizona. We just burn. No tornadoes.

In Virginia it's been major lightning for the past few hours. Like every 5-10 seconds.

Wow! The weather patterns are...my God

Hearing about the intense heat in the Northeast and South, and here in Los Angeles, we are complaining about the June Gloom. I pray God's mercyicon_neutral.gif

This year especially that's some scary shit. I moved here from CA.. earthquakes are our tornados... but they don't happen very often.

My weather season is just starting. HURRICANES... but if i had to choose between a hurricane and tornado i'd choose hurricane anyway. We have like a week notice before it hits and can get far far away. More property damage but less human casualties.

Tell me about it. Here in Minnesota, we shattered, spat on, burned, and blew away the record with 103 degree heat on Tuesday. Then tomorrow, it's going to be 60 if we're lucky.

Thanks for all the concern. It looks like we didn't have any really serious damage around the area, it could have been much worse.

I wonder if that's the same system that blew through here in the wee hours this morning. We got an inch of rain overnight. Recently, we've had so much rain that the corn plants are starting to turn yellow. Not good.
