The group is called The Weekend Cho and the name of the song is Pop Drop and Roll but I cant seem to be able to find it anywhere! I listened to this yesterday on So You Think You Can Dance when the choreographer Sonya used it for the top 10 girls performance. Why is it so hard to find god damn it!

PS: I tried googling it and nothing, Shazam has no clue what it is, same thing for SoundHound icon_sad.gif

Probably just means the song hasn't been released yet... But I don't think the "group" is actually called The Weekend Cho... Both the end of your video and the SYTYCD clip listed them as Chonique Sneed & Lisette Bustamante, and they are choreographers themselves...

(Awful choreography IMHO... Looks like a high school production, and somewhat racially offensive...)

ya thats not the right group....

I thought the choreography was brilliant, not very complex(considering the variety of genres every dancer specializes in) but very dynamic and entertaining. The girls nailed it and made it look fun to the viewer which is what it was all about. To think its racist is just silly.

Difference of opinions... It's precisely the fact the choreography was not complex that disappointed me. These are the top 10 girls -- doesn't matter what their genres and disciplines are, they should be doing the most difficult choreographies to prove that they deserve to be there over everybody else. However, they're only dancing to what they were told to do, so I can't blame the dancers.

As for the racial thing, maybe you and I just have different sensibilities -- and I only said "somewhat" -- there were a few seconds here and there that bothered me, not the entire routine. But whatever... It's not relevant to your original topic anyway.
