....every joint in my body ached like I had run in a marathon!!
All I did was mow grass, weedeat and trim the hedges yesterday!! icon_sad.gif

You guys over 30: Remember when you'd wake up and your dick was stiff and your joints were limber...instead of the other-way around?icon_rolleyes.gif

lol, yes I do! Say! Let's scare the crap out of the younger set on here.

There's nothing like rolling over in bed in the morning and you can feel your face sliding a little trying to catch up.

Or, running down the trail to the beach and your upper thighs have developed an annoying habit of slapping together in time with, "we're going swimming we're going swimming".

You're using a hammer and the swinging motion of your arm makes the muscle under your upper arm swing in the opposite direction. icon_eek.gif

theantijock saidI just file it all under the heading of "getting old sucks"

Rofl! Oddly enough, I'm rather enjoying it, as it's turned out to be unlike anything my parents' age group used to complain about when they hit their mid 50s.

Here's another : If you feel charged up full of energy and vigor, ready to run, swim, play tennis or anything else just lie down for about 10 minutes and the feeling will go away. icon_lol.gif

Or, if you wake up feeling all powered up, fresh and raring to go it means you're coming down with something. icon_lol.gif

You do reach the point that if, upon awakening, every joint doesn't hurt, you're probably dead.

And no, I don't remember waking up every morning to a stiff dick...the memory's the second thing to go...

I still remember laughing at all the old farts (over forty) talking about aches and pains and operations and the like...now I am them.

Try having a quality protein and veggie meal immediately after exercise and stay hydrated. I find this greatly reduces my recovery time.

I guess I am not old yet since my down there stiffness still exceeds my joint stiffness. Lol

in my 20's and 30's i was never the leanest, the hardest body in whatever group i was in. my thought process was more mature than my buds.

now that most of my friends are in their 40's and 50's, they look/move/think older than i do.

    Payback can be schweeeeet.

I usually wake up feeling terrific, and yeah, most likely a stiffy. My body seems to be thinking about sex more then my mind does over the last few years.

I remember when I was in my early thirties, in a relationship, coming home from work and then the gym late at night, laying down with shoulder pain, back pain, rib pain, etc. My bf at the time understood that I could barely move and wasn't into having intimacy most nights until the weekend.

Nowadays I take Super Cissus Rx and a few other supplements for bones, joints, inflammation, tendons, etc. I also know now which exercises hurt my back or shoulders and how to train without hurting myself.

I guess age has a few advantages. I know how to take better care of myself.

I have been on the skinny side all my life , so my joints are in pretty good shape , and swimming often , have helped as well .

Ditto, which goes to prove age is incidental.

Well... I've had arthritis since I was 17, but I have noticed this year that I'm unreasonably tired the day after a lot of activity. I'm hoping that it's just because of too much desk-work over the winter, and not because I'm about to turn fif... fi.... well over thirty.

Still making a dent in the mattress though.

Oh my dear lawd...I needed a good belly laugh, MenInLove! icon_lol.gifThanks so much for that!! You're my new bestest buddy on here now! icon_cool.gif

Here's the thing: I apparently slept in the same position all night long...on my back, arms folded across my chest like in a casket...my BF told he was going to hold a mirror under my nose to see if he could cash the life insurance check soon!

NO MORE TEQUILA SHOTS AFTER A HEAVY PASTA DINNER!!!
    I swear it. LOL

I've decided that I need to roll between Alpha & Cash....purely to make the aches disappear, mind you.

The stiffness, however, will migrate to a mid-body appendage....icon_twisted.gif

I can't wait to get older! Being young has its drawbacks too. Reaching middle age and above goes hand in hand with respect, dignity and greater freedom. Being financially stable, financially self sufficient, having children, owning and running a business, owning property, etc.. All these things come with age and responsability. As much as I enjoy my youth, having a fit body isn't everything. I think there are so many more experiences that life has to offer, and most of these experiences come to fruition at a later age. I don't know if any other young(ish) guys would agree with me?

So do I...but that morning the stiffness in my joints was the winner of the battle for Body Rob.icon_neutral.gif
