I got a hole on the sleeve of my favorite hoodie. So I decided to tear both sleeves off. I think I kinda like the result, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Does it look good or should I trash it? (And, yeah, I know I have a farmer's tan).

It works fine, and BTW, in Wyoming we call that a "cowboy tan."

Alright, so I guess the majority leans towards keeping it for casual/fitness contexts, with a short-sleeved shirt underneath. I also like that look better than with just a tank top. Thanks, guys! I'm glad to be able to get a second life out of that old rag.

Why worry about what others think. If you like it, wear it. I have two flannel shirts that had the same problem and I removed the sleeves. I wear them in the summer. I love them and that's all that matters to me.

I don't worry about what others think, but when unsure about something having to do with fashion, I will always appreciate the opinion of my fellow gays.

Some Polish dudes at my gym wear something like that... But it's from AX or something. Of course it looks hot on their blonde haired blue eyed asses, but prob not on me.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidIt works, however I do not think it looks good with a t-shirt underneath.

Duly noted. Skin shall be shown.

Also, my ignorant ass was just informed that they sell these, with the sleeves already torn out for you, at American Apparel. This was cheaper.

As an apparel designer I can give you a seal of a approval!! icon_biggrin.gif

I've converted my some of my old cargo pants into shorts, giving them a surprising new lease of life for them!
