I saw it! I enjoyed it, didn't love it. I felt it became a little too cheesy and over-the-top by the end...but I don't really like SPOILER*****alien****SPOILER movies usually...but it was fun and great acting!

The movie was ok. I thought it was getting a little too Jeepers Creepers. Plus the fact that the movie was based primarily around the children actors, turned the movie from, what I thought, a serious setting to what looked like the "Olson Twins' Next Adventure". My thoughts written down.

Sort of a cross between E.T. and Cloverfield. Minus the Reeses Pieces and without Central Park. 5 out of 10. The kids were good actors though..they were the best part.

They should have called it Super Shit. The kids were good and the train derailment sequence was well done (though, lol, how is it that the car was completely fine to drive home, right) but this was a cheap movie. It was like a mix of Cloverfield, E.T., and The Goonies...only it didn't work.

I feel like if The Goonies and E.T. had a love child in the 21st century, it would be Super 8.
