How's your training going? My next half marathon is on August 6th....

    At present I'm running 3 times a week - one short run, one medium size run and one long run (long run to me being 9 - 13 miles!) I was doing it until the end of last week when I got eczema and found out its not a good idea to run long distances when there's an outbreak between the legs (ow!).

    Anyway I'll be back running soon. How's yours going?

    Recovering from a tendon tear, so I am getting back to running longer distances at a faster pace.

    I have my next Ironman in a little over a week (June 26, 2011) in Couer d'Alene. The hard training is done and busy mentally preparing to have a great race.

    Hey y'all. My training is going well. Had to take Feb off for a stress fracture but came back pretty well.

    Spring Half Marathon was miserable but still squeaked out sub-2 hours. Barely!!!

    Chase Corp Challenge - did really well. Beat the snobby guy from our corporate Pride group, which pleased me to no end.

    Soldier Field 10 - great. Did better than last year by almost a mile. Sprinted the last half mile and was actually happy with myself.

    Long run yesterday at 16 so I think i'm in good shape for the August R&R Half and then - The Big One in October. Barring injury of course!!! *knocks wood*

    building my base back up after taking a couple weeks off (ran Seattle Marathon on June 25th). Focusing on speed work to reach a PR at the Portland Marathon. Also, really excited to start training for the Portland Rock & Roll Half Marathon with my daughter. She turns 11 in August and got motivated after watching me run my marathon. I am going to try working in double runs (one in the morning with her...light, slow 2-4 miles) and harder/longer one in the evening alone.
