I hear guys going on adding mass cycles then lean cycles & etc. We all would love to be a big ripped muscle God but it seems to me, especially as we get older, to maintain this muscle mass is harder & harder.

Isnt it better to try to be leaner & riped & a more athletic look? It wouldnt be as hard to maintain eating wise & workout wise especially if you have to work full time & have kids & etc.

Which is easier to maintain you think? Muscle God or lean & mean?

the size you can easily maintain depends on body type, I certainly can keep the lean/athletic thing much easier than size. The real issue for both is not getting fat... very hard with all the crap food we┬┤re presented with.

Hey, I'm lean/muscular and have a tough time bulking up. Fortunately, there are plenty of guys you like the lean/muscular look. I appreciate a guy who has really worked up his body, but I'll never be there.

Lean and muscular/athletic not only looks better, but is also more practical for daily life.
Big muscle gods get fat when they're no longer able to maintain, and usually "look" fat when they're wearing long sleeves.

But certainly you have to admit this is all down to personal aesthetic preference? Whichever bent you aim for, as long as you keep it within the bounds of physical health, your goal is a personal preference in consideration of your own body type.

Exactly. No matter which look you go for, some people will hate it.

Well, genetics will allow you to go only so far, and I'm a small boned guy so I think 'muscle god' is out of the question. So I'll go for 'lean and mean,' which is actually my preference in other guys anyway.

Very hard for me to get much leaner. Though my body weight doesn't fluctuate drastically i do find it easier to put on muscle. Not a huge cardio person i do it periodically i know it's the key. diet is i'd say 90% disciplined.

Its funny, I always like looking at muscle gods in porn, and since moving to the city Ive had the "pleasure" (or what little there is to be had) of hooking up with guys that big. I find they cant move at all.

The tall, lean n muscly guys get me every time in bed, I dont know why.

Because they treat you as the naughty little slut you are?

Well big guys treat me that way too. I think its because in bed, you need agility, which big guys dont have. Lets face it, if the most you can move is back and forth, we aint gonna be having fun lol.

Beefy is easier for me to maintain. I can put on weight (not all muscle) pretty easily but getting definition, especially in the abs is so hard for me. Especially now thar I'm in my 40s.

As far as what I like seeing on other guys, it's all good. I can appreciate guys that are big and muscular as well as guys that are lean and really ripped.

Lean and mean is easier to maintain, but Muscle God is the higher pay off. When you're Lean and Mean sometimes life sucks and you have to lay on your tight drum ass and cry into your pillow, but when life sucks for, a Muscle God, he gets to lay on his massive muscle ass and cry into his much larger more grandiose pillow.

Plus, less fase sit, a Muscle God will fair better in a club setting than a leaner; he will be noticed and more than likely inundated with request of varying indecency. If his ego needs that, all of that time, sweating, lifting, and whatever else, just became worth it.

See, you're comparing Pink Lady Apples (my favorite!) and Red Apples here, if a man has a partner, children, and whatever else, he's made his goals pretty clear and fitness will fit where it belongs, on the side. However, if a man is totally dedicated to building his body to twink eye popping proportions, he's made his goals quite obvious as well. He'll probably hit the clubs and the former family man will not. There is no VS, there is just either or. In closing, let's not forget the galaxy of other reasons a man works out, other than the classification it gives him to others. Good Day, Sir..... icon_wink.gif
