No one knows! Although, Mugglenet says they've seen it...it's not a new book, that's for sure.

From what I understand it's not an announcement or anything, it's going to be a really awesome website which is at pottermore.com.

    First...

The miracle of life has never been more ... horrifying. I remember I used to work at a pharmacy that also did 1 hour photos... I'll never forget the day someone thought it would be awesome to take pictures with a crappy disposable camera of the crowning moment. And I'll never forget my need to puke when I pulled the pictures up. Thank you for bringing back memories. Thank god I'm both gay, and not a woman.

    Secondly...

I've never read harry potter, mainly because I've always had something else going on. I have however watched a few of the movies, and loved them immensely.

This makes me want to quickly read all of the books so I can keep up with pop culture when this new thing comes out.

While I love the movies, they really do the books no justice. Go read them NAO! icon_wink.gif

I'd bet on a Hogwarts encyclopedia... She's mentioned it multiple times before. I would definitely look forward to that. icon_biggrin.gif

Harry Potter books are written at a Highlights-for-Children level, the whimsy in them is forced and mechanical, and the characters are charmless.

Welcome to the average person on earth.

    Ugh.

It was never about the mechanics of the writing. It was always about readers identifying with the various human archetypes represented by the characters. It was capturing the reader's imagination. The generation that is most looking forward to the final movie and this upcoming release were the children that could relate to a character found in these books when she was still writing the books.

Its more about nostalgia at this point than anything more. I doubt JK wrote these books for adults (even though many adults enjoy the series -- and good for them)
