Vegetarian supplements?

    So I’m just starting a lifting program, I used to be pretty fit but have since lost much I think. I recently turned veggie and I was wondering if I need protein supplements to keep up with the program.

    I would rather not take anything if I can avoid it.

    I guess the question is are you getting enough protein in your day to day diet? I would suggest writing down everything you eat in a day for a week and see where you are at with your protein intake and see what adjustments you can make. If you do decide to go with a supplement you may want to look into Hemp powder. It made of ground hemp seeds and not processed like soy or rice protein powders. In addition it contains the 9 essential amino acids.
