Epic Mealtime is like being invited to a party, but everyone at that party is Dane Cook. Never understood the appeal.

Ok, points to Fountains for the funny, but I don't think it's quite that frat-boy-ish. I enjoy EMT (turned on a bunch of my friends to it), and I'm still happy with it. It's got at least a foundation in actual culinary skill and prep work, the silliness of their characters always takes a back seat to the actual cooking, and the final dishes show some real imagination and vision. I think it's worth watching, but the niche market they're going for is definitely pretty small, so I wouldn't expect a lot of ppl to forgive some of the silliness.
