    Mormons’ image campaign

The theme is, ‘It’s normal to be Mormon.’

    [QUOTE]
Survey data collected by the church found that negative associations with the word “Mormon’’ — from “cultish’’ to “sexist’’ — dropped noticeably in the test markets that ran the ads last summer. Even “antigay’’ associations dropped, a mystery to even the Mormons, since none of the ads features someone who is gay or who advocates for gay rights.

My partner's parents are Mormon and they are very lovely people. I've been welcome in their home for the past two Christmases. Over the past eight years they have become a bit of a second family.

I just read that 20% of Americans would never vote for a Mormon.
And, that's come down a long way.

In 1978 God changed his mind and told the leaders that African Americans could be Mormon...no longer the mark of Cain as it says in their Book...

They also believe the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County Mo. and that Ancient Hebrews rowed Jesus there years later for some reason

I know all religions believe odd things...but really?

I like the contrast between "I'm a Mormon" and "Piers Morgan tonight".

No African Americans could be members of the Church. They just could not behold the priesthood.

No the jews where meant to of gotten to the Americans but they did not row, or take Jesus. Jesus went to the Americas after he was killed murded, by who?

What's strange about that? They have another ad with a black guy and a white girl with their baby. They want to have people embrace Mormonism no matter what background they are.
