Can I record a movie from CABLE TV, then copy it from my VCR to my CD-ROM, then E-MAIL it to my best friend's CELL PHONE so he can make a copy on his boyfriend's CAMCORDER...? 106.gif

Keep it simple!............. just copy it from your Cable Tv to your CD Rom..... or you can really download from the Internet "VCL Media Player" to be able to make as many copies as you need ....then past/zipped and send by e-mail or whatevericon_smile.gif

If you do not have the ability to connect your TV/VCR to your computer to copy onto CD Rom, then it's easy but will cost a little money, like maybe 10-20$.
Just take the VHS tape to a video copying store and have them convert the tape from VHS format to a Disk, once done you should beable to email it anywhere you want. Besure to tell the guy at the counter that you want to beable to send it as an attachment. icon_biggrin.gif

Windows 7 Media Center + TV tuner card. Transcode to MP4. Upload to MediaFire. Call it a day.

We were so busy wondering if we could do this, that we didn't stop to ask if we should do this!
