In this video Kaite, my Airedale, is my 2 years old Airedale. I've had here since she was a puppy. I adopted Brock last year and he was 4 at the time.

This is Brock's first night at the house and Katie isn't really quite sure what to think about this other dog...who seems to be sitting a little too close to her. lol

Katie is 'mooing' like she does from time to time. Then Brock starts talking...he hasn't stopped talking since.

    Enjoy!

How did you get them to be so laid back for the first time together? When I adopted my second and third dogs, I had to keep them in a playpen but separated from my first two for a couple of weeks before letting them all hang out in the same space...

They get along great. They started off pretty friendly with each other. Katie was just mad that he was laying on her!

Katie and I lived alone until she was about 8 months old. Then I moved in with a friend and she had a German Shepherd and a Basset Hound. They moved out about 6 months later and Katie was left alone for the 1st time in her life and she did about $1500 worth of damage to my back deck/patio door.

So, I went on the dog hunt. Found Brock at the animal shelter (the little bastard is an escape artist and his original owners just couldn't handle it any more.) They played together at the shelter and that was it for both of us!

She's pretty happy to have a brother. I'm not always happy. You should see me run through my neighborhood at 7:30am wearing dress clothes chasing his ass! I have a way of keeping him in the yard when I"m not home but I generally let him run free when i'm in the yard with him...but sometimes he gets a wild hair and takes off! lol The things we do for our pets!

That was too adorable. And I had no idea dogs grew up so fast.
