For the eleventh year in a row not going on vacation. Where is everyone else going? Just seeing where popular places are this year.

Hitting up DC, but it's more business than pleasure. I may also go to Florida to visit my friend later this year.

Well, Not a summer vacation but a holiday vacation and I'm still not sure where to go... Puerto Rico is at the top of my list and NYC is close second.

Did some local travel here in the US this summer. One of my best friends is getting married next year in either Sweden (where she lives) or Hawaii (where her sister lives), so hope to be able to make that!

Hmmm. Plenty of vacation time, but not a lot of spare cash. So I'll probably do some local beach-ing, unless someone is willing to put me up for a few days and show me around their city icon_biggrin.gif

Or failing that, I'll pretend I'm a Time Lord, hop in my make-believe TARDIS, and go visit that alternate universe where the 21st century Pax Teutonica rules the world benevolently from Potsdam, due to Kaiser Friedrich having lived long enough not to allow his son Wilhelm II to frack things up so lousily from 1888-1918....

    Montreal QC
I just got back and it was a great trip. Getting there was difficult but what do you expect with Montreal Jazz Festival, International Fireworks and the opening of a new Cirque show all in the same week.
It was first real foreign country not including Cancun islands off a cruise ship.
It opened my eyes to a whole different world and way of life.
Had a great time awesome people. Even though my French is beginner at best (just rusty) I communicated well enough.
If you haven't been I suggest going.

Not sure yet. Everything is up in the air until I hear back about a job. But, if things go well for me and my boyfriend, we may go to Norway to see his ancestral homeland and visit family outside of Oslo. I am also trying to get to Chicago and Toronto.
