I use Clinique facial moisturizer with a sunscreen on my face. Now that I work outdoors, I do not want to use it on my arms. I'm deciding on Aveeno SPF 30 or Neutrogena ultra sheer sunscreen SPF 30.

I tried both on the back of my hands. Neutrogena had more water in it leaving it less greasy. Aveeno had a slight scent to it. Which would you use? I'm looking for something less expensive to use on my arms. Thanks.

Remember chemical sunscreens are only active for a few hours; including the sunscreen in your moisturizer. Hence why having sunscreen in your moisturizer is a bit of a fail.

Opt for mineral sunscreens if you really want protection. Nothing will be waterproof, but there are a few water resistant. I use the neutrogena 'dry-touch, ultra sheer' on my body. It's all chemical, but I wear it when going out for the day and reapply if I'm out again for extended periods.

If you work outdoors, I'd suggest a long sleeve compression shirt (Underarmour, Nike, etc). They're thin enough to let air flow through, keeping you cooler than if you were shirtless; and they block the sun (SPF 50 on most). Then you only need sunscreen on your face and hands...much less expensive that way.

I wear a uniform which consist of a polo shirt so I'm not shirtless. I can not wear colors taken away from the Kakai polo. I'd wear long sleeves but I work in Southern California....Thanks for the idea.

Wear the compression shirt under the polo (get a color that won't clash - gray is pretty versatile).
I do that when clients are gonna be around so I can wear the company shirt on top.
