Friend Or Foe

I had a real good friend at one point in time in my life we have known each other since the third grade and remained good friends until as of now. The last time that i saw my friend Khory in Walmart it was just not the same as it always was he acted like a complete jerk towards me and my sister and it has made me feel indifferent about him all along. I somewhat feel that are friendship was a bit of a sham since this sudden behavior of his is an all-time low but i could be over-exaggerating but at the same time i really feel that it is unacceptable by the way he has been acting recently. Have you ever felt that one person who you have known for so long suddenly give you the cold shoulder and brush you off as if you were nothing to them?

i had a friend like that, actually, i have a lot of friends like that. one of them i haven't bothered to talk to since he was quoted in a punk rock article saying "suicide is for gay 19 year olds" when asked about the emo scene or something. thought he was a close friend but thinking back i can see he wasn't really.

and yeah, you can make new friends all the time, i agree with 2nd poster guy there.

Actually, I've had it happen a couple of times.

My best friend from Kindergarten through most of high school, suddenly decided to join the wilder clique of kids, often getting into trouble, and rarely doing his homework, a 180 degree turn from what he used to be. We weren't close after that.

As an adult, one guy in my group of friends used to go out to the bars with us, go on vacations with us, and celebrate birthdays and holidays together. And, he was really a lot of fun. Then, one day, he suddenly changed. He often made nasty remarks to me. And, he stopped spending time with me and the rest of our friends.

    Go figure.

Hey, pal icon_twisted.gif Your friends don't owe you anything; they offer and give friendship, that's it. They can resend the offer or stop being a friend anytime the notion strikes them. You shouldn't take offense or overreact, the result could be drama for all. icon_biggrin.gif

I wouldn't trust a guy named Khorey, especially if he used a K and an h in his name.

that shit has happened to me a bunch of times. people start to show their true colors i guess. its hard since youve been friends for so long but you need to try to move onto someone who will actually treat you like a real friend
