Due to the fact that I'm tired of drinking plain water, I was wondering if there was any disadvantage with drinking water with the 5 calorie drink mixes from wylers or crystal light in it? It's the kind that you can slip into 16-20 ounce bottles/cups. Just wondering. I know it has aspartame in it, but I've read that's not necessarily a bad thing. It has pretty much nothing else in it except 10 mg of sodium and potassium. (per 8 oz. serving).

Sugar free Kool Aid isn't too bad. Pretty cheap too. There's a new drink mix called Mio. Haven't tried it myself. But it's kinda pricey. The ingredients seem pretty safe.

Do what the spas do. Add a slice of lime, orange, or cucumber, or add a strawberry to your water. Now you have flavored water, and no artificial chemicals.

Brew some iced tea and do not add sweeteners.
