Would you help me with this John Lennon cover? Your critique... however ruthless or beneficial would be awesome.

loved your creative spin on the song. i wont pretend im an expert but perhaps spending more time on some of the notes as you sing might be helpful. you seem to cut some of the juiciest lyrics short. the piano is excellent, perhaps just injecting a little bit more into the singing might help.

You've got a great voice. But I don't like the soulful flavor you've added to the song. To me, the song should be a little more on the melancholy side, and not so much on the diva side. Just my personal opinion. I'm sure others will disagree with me. I like Bryan Ferry's cover. His version has a nice dreamy feel to it.

Injecting a little more singing.... hmmm. Good point. Perhaps it's me trying to emulate some of the older soul singers like Herbie Hancock and it's not working. Good note

Awesome! I've never thought I could be anywhere in the same vicinity as "diva!" I also like Bryan Ferry's version.
I think it was my attempt at adding a new twist to a classic song. Thanks.

Didn't realize the lighting cast so many shadows on me. Perhaps it was my sad attempt at re-creating a home version of the TV show, "The Voice."

You were singing some notes out of tune and I didn't like that straining sound you were doing to your voice. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good.
