Yes, I remember - Karen Valentine... the black guy had a gig on Star Trek first (in the pilot and first episode, I think - he was the communications officer, but then they got Uhura...)

I can barely remember it. Karen Valentine played a student-teacher or something.

Good lord, in the first 90 seconds that show was more multi-cultural and representative than anything Hollywood has put out in the past 30 years!

Yes, I definitely remember that show and especially Karen Valentine. I was out of town this week for work and my hotel room number was room 222. I almost made a joke about but realized the person checking me in would have no idea what I was talking about.

    Anyone remember "James at 16"?

Yes, I remember "James at 16" especially the episode when his uncle gave him a special birthday present - a sexy call girl for a night. Remember that?

Yes, I remember. And I also remember "Love American Style", "Bridget Loves Bernie", the original "The Electric Company", 'Bonanza', "My Three Sons", "Rhoda", and later on "Mash" and "Taxi". TV was great then.

Yes, I remember the "very special episode" when James lost his virginity (that was the one, right?). I had a crush on the actor but didn't realize it. Also had a crush on the two brothers in "Eight is Enough."

Lloyd Haynes was maybe my first crush.

I think I recall Karen Valentine's character directing a high school production of "Hair."

I was a very little kid, but I kind of remember it. It was on right after the Partridge Family on Friday nights on ABC. You sort of got your lines crossed there Todd.. um.. LOL The Jeffersons was on CBS.
