Ok so today I was working out and felt alright, then I started feeling a little weak. I noticed I wasn't able to lift as much which was weird cause normally I work out 2x harder. Anyway I start noticing my stomach feeling kind of goofy, then my throat got really dry. I went into the lockerroom to get some water and I started feeling very light headed, I looked into the mirror and my face was extremely flushed like I had just ran 10miles or something, my cheeks were extremely red. As I was looking in the mirror my heart started racing extremely fast, I even felt my pulse and I got really scared. I sat down and was shaking really badly like I was gonna pass out and had enoguh energy to call my dad to come get me.

After like 10mins I finally felt a little better. But still pretty bad, but not like I was gonna pass out.

I am currnetly working out like 5days a week which isn't that much compared how I usually do.

I have been taking White Flood before working out, this contains I believe creatine and nitric oxide. I usually only take about half the dose, but today I took the whole thing. Could this be from that?

I also take gold whey protein. I was wondering what you guys recommend? This was extremely scary for me and I never had anything like this happen. I wasn't even working out hard either.

Nitirc oxide relaxes the smooth muscles in vessel walls, resulting in vasodilation and an increase in blood flow. It also relaxes the smooth muscles along the gastrointestinal tract, but I don't know if that would have anything to do with your symptoms.

How long have you been using White Flood?

Looking online, it also has a decent amount of caffeine in it (not to mention other stimulants). One place had a review that read "due to the excessive amount of caffeine...". Can't seem to find an exact amount though. Don't know what your tolerance is.

And if you ever feel faint and lightheaded like that, and you notice your face is flush, try to lay down and not just sit. will get the blood back to your brain quicker.

White flood is pretty potent. I tried taking a full dose (2 scoops) and I would feel a little light headed as well. I cut it down to one scoop and felt fine and still got a great pump! Bring it down to one scoop and see how you feel.

What is your carb intake like? Stimulants + activity + no glycogen stores equals a pretty hard bonk. If your calorie intake for the previous 36 hour was too low or you've cut out complex carbohydrates, that could be contributing.

My guess is the white flood. Some stuff doesn't agree with everyone very well. I've had a similar experience with NaNo Vapor. Sometimes the lactic acid that is produced during a lift along with something like WhiteFlood is just enough to tip that balance from feeling weaker to a full attack of feeling like dog shit.

You may want to try a different product. I have awesome luck with the SuperPump 250 by Gaspari Nutrition. They are one of very few supplement companies that shells out the money for independent clinical trials. They are generally well respected in the industry.

As far as the whey protein, I completely and without any hesitation at all, would recommend Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex. It blends fast absorbing whey proteins with some slower ones as well, the taste is excellent, its got a great amino acid profile, and it is not loaded with excess carbs or fat. Best stuff I have ever tried, and most of the serious bodybuilders I know use it as their first choice as well.

One thing you might also want to try to drinking extra water when taking the supplement. Creatine supplements can cause dehydration. Hope this helps! icon_smile.gif

Thanks alot. It definitely wasn't from not enough carbs, I usually eat plenty before my work out for energy. I also drink a ton of a water so it wasnt that. I'm guessing it was prolly the white flood, I never took full dosage before, I been using it for a week or so now. I can't imagine it being from the caffeine since I drink coffee quite a few times for the last few years, so I can hold my own of caffeine.

It was very scarey, I had to call my dad to come get me from the gym cause I couldn't drive.
