Working at my health club. Right now the owner is on vacation so it's more hours than I usually will, but I don't mind. It's decent pocket money and I when it's a little slow I can get a quick set in.

I like it. I'm on my feet for the most part, moving around and doing stuff instead of sitting on my lazy ass at home.

I just went through the selectorized equipment with a new member, showing her how to use it, how to pick the weight, correct form, etc.

It sounds like a fun time there Tim... will it help you with motivation for your own work outs?

I think so, or it will backfire and I won't want to work out at all. icon_neutral.gif

I've always thought how much of a wasted opportunity it is to have straight boys watching our weight room to make sure nothing goes wrong. If I had to watch the weight room . . well, shit, maybe that's why they've got straight boys manning it, if I were watching the room I'd probably be staring at the men so much I'd never notice something else going wrong!

Do you have to swab all the benches down with disinfectant to combat the dreaded MRSA? They seem to have started doing this at my gym occasionally.

Yeah, I'm cleaning like a mofo. I had offered to fill in for a guy that's on vacation, and the owner asked me to stay on permanently.

    Not really. I'm boring.

At least now I have cash to go out to dinner or something.

That does not compute. Why do you have to work a second job just to have a little spending money?

I was scrubbing tiles in the ladies room today with Ajax cleanser and felt like Mommie Dearest. "I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at the dirt."

Why am I having such a problem seeing you in a second job...and one where you are scrubbing toilets!

This does not compute with me. ... icon_confused.gif
