    Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht
    1979
    Werner Herzog
    West Germany/France
    A German/French co-production:
    Werner Herzog Filmproduktion, München
    ZDF, Mainz
    Gaumont S.A., Paris

This is what horror cinema should be; not that Twilight crap. This movie is, without a doubt, one of the best remakes ever put on film. Great cast, authentic settings, beautiful costumes, and unparalleled atmosphere.

    Shadow of the Vampire.

A film on the making of INosferatu, as if the actor playing Count Orlock were an actual vampire. Willem Dafoe did an incredible job.

Yes, this was a very good movie, but I think it probably had too little focus on blood and gore and too much on a story line for most of today's audiences.

I'm on the 30 Days Of Night bandwagon.I bought the Let The Right One In american remake but haven't gotten around to watchin it yet, too busy chatting it up on RJ ;-)
David Tennent is playing the Roddy Mcdowell part in the Fright Night remake, so I'm pretty stoked to see that. Loved him as Doctor Who.
