Originally I was going to move at the end of this year, but I decided to move next year at the end of the year. I wanted to move to Chicago, I really like that city feel...but after consideration I'm not sure if that's the place for me. I love warm weather and don't mind the heat. So out of these places which do you guys think the best place to move is...I've been to each city. I just can't make up my mind. icon_confused.gif

    1. CHICAGO

    2. MIAMI/FT. LAUDERDALE

    3. HOUSTON

    4. LOS ANGELES/SAN DIEGO

    5. NEW YORK CITY

Is weather your only criteria? What else draws you to those cities on your list?

I'd pick LA or San Diego. But my choice is a little biased, since I'm a SoCal native. icon_wink.gif Aside from the awesome weather, there are plenty of outdoor activities and lots of culture. But cost of living tends to be high, and traffic is a pain. Also, jobs are little sparse these days.

My second choice would be Houston. Cost of living seems to be cheaper relative to the other cities on your list. And the local economy is somewhat better from what I hear.

Miami, duh! New York is fancy, but it's loud and expensive and smoggy. If you steer clear of crowds and make your way to pristine beaches and white-walled ocean view hotels, Miami better be prepared for you!
