So I just got back from Toronto, and I must say, I LOVED this city! It was amazing.

Dining experience was fantastic. My fave place was Chiado at Little Portugal. Although I think eating out is more expensive in Toronto than in New York even, it really lived up to its gourmet hype.

And Yorkville-my god, people watching was so much fun. So many orange (fake tan) Italians, I love it.

I suggest you visit Toronto if you get a chance. (Surprised though that it isn't as interracial as I thought it would be, although many different cultures, they stuck to their own- still very cliquish). But loved my stay.

And people smile a A LOT. (And their overwhelming adulation for Justin Bieber caught me by, its totes cool for them to express love for the Biebs...weird but hey whatever)

If you get a chance, visit Toronto. It' s worth it. (But be prepared to spend $35 each meal, just sayin)

Noone here likes bieber except 12 year old girls and some gay men.

And I don't know where you were eating at 35 a meal, unless you are ordering a steak a drink and leaving like 7 dollar tip lol

Glad you had a great time. Too bad you're going to miss pride this weekend . It's one of the best events this city has to offer.

I don't think I've met anyone who has actually admitted to liking JB. Personally, hate his music and he's extremely annoying. Glad you liked Toronto, though.

Whenever someone extols the musical stylings of the young Master Bieber, I clear the pestilential affair out of my mind by considering the matronly form of my second year organic chem teacher, Professor Bieber (no relation that I'm aware of).

    She was a 100kg/160cm tall ass-kicking chemistry-teaching powerhouse.

And she could rock a Madonna with the cone-titty bra like none other on Halloween...

Well I am glad you liked my "hometown" (I have lived here for 25 years). Chiado is a very good restaurant, but very expensive (kind of place I would take my partner for our anniversary dinner).

You can get a great meal in chinatown for less than $15. Best thing about Toronto? It is a very diverse and multi-cultural city with lots of great restuarants. I don't have to travel far to eat Ethiopian, Sri Lankan, Indian, Hungarian, Peruvian etc..

As for Mr. Bieber I haven't really noticed the adulation you mention (except amongst teenage girls). He actually has some musical talent, but may have become too popular to fast. Only time will tell.
