I'm headed to Vegas in a week and I need some suggestions on restaurants. I am a total food snob. So what are your suggestions for the best places to eat in Vegas?

Try to do every all-you-can-eat buffet in town. I dare you.

Try Guy Savoy or Joel Robuchon at MGM. They are both fabulous!!!

Bouchon was a fab french bistro at the Venetian. Very authentic and quiet because its at the back of the hotel....tres bon!

PRIME steak house at bellagio ROCKS, as does le cirque.

Bradley Ogden at Caesar's is amazing (i even got a tour of the kitchen, thanks to the gracious and flirty host).

There are tons to choose from.

The best authentic Italian is a little, out of the way place. I can't remember the name but is is directly behind Bally's off the strip. Exquisite!

Have to agree I ate their last week in Vegas and was great...the waiter however was the rudest asshole I've ever met!

I took about 30 seconds to decide what I wanted to drink and he acted so impatient gestured me to hurry up, I asked for Tea, he mimicked my Irish accent and then when he brought desert I asked for another fork and he threw one on to the table from 2 feet away

Here is a great place - not in the casinos - in the Howard Hughes area - Lawry's, The Prime Rib. Great place / great service. Memorable.

If you like sushi, check out Todai in the miracle mile shops at Planet Hollywood Casino(the hotel/casino is nothing like the cheesy planet hollywood restaurants)

Also the prime rib house at Excaliber is outstanding.

I'll be in Vegas at the end of September.. have to make my yearly pilgrimageicon_biggrin.gif Plan on seeing Cher too this time..never seen her before and have heard she does an awesome show.

Anyone stayed at Bill's Gamblin' Hall before??

I totally agree with The Prime at Bellagio. Eaten there many times, and always excellent. Two great Italian places are Zefferino at the Venetian and Il Mulino in the Forum Shops at Caesars.

The Delmonico in the Venetian is a very good place if you want a steak. I think it is an Emeril restaurant. I have been there twice and I was very happy! Have fun in Vegas Daniel!! icon_biggrin.gif
