    I dunno, the amount of blue in Europe is so much more than anywhere else, US included:

    Dark blue=gay marriage legal
    light blue=civil unions and others legal

    Even Mexico (lightest blue) recognizes gay marriage even though it's not performed throughout Mexico. Can one say the same about the US?icon_rolleyes.gif

    Not to knock their chart, but it's deceiving. Homosexuality being illegal and marriage are not necessarily related. Maybe the chart should replace being illegal with no statue on record (in relation to marriage) or something to be more accurate.

    Prior to 2003 Lawrence vs. Texas gay sex was illegal in about half the states in the union. Admittedly, not all states with those laws enforced them. I believe that's what the chart is referring to.
