I've seen a better face on a clock.

Guys, since a lot of posts lately are focussing on parts of the body we like, here's my question.

There are heaps of immaculate bodied guys on this site, we have a very visual treat on the beauty of the male form here.

But would you want to be with a guy who has a beautifully sculptured body if his face looked like it belonged in a paper bag?

Personally, I look at a man's face and eyes before I look at his bod.

    Discuss.

funny to say that since you do not include your face.

I say face first, body second. Hot, trim, muscular bodies are great, but since he'll be clothed 90% of the time (unless you have him chained up in the basement) you'll be spending more time looking at his face. Also, unless you've met him in a bathhouse, chances are it's his face that got your attention in the first place.

Muscles are muscles, they're not very unique, but facial features are. I can get turned on by a great muscular body, but it's a man's unique look that takes my breath away.

Never a short answer with me, hehe.

The face means more to me than the body, but I really wouldn't want to be with a guy if one was great, and the other hideous.

I like to follow your personal dogma "Personally, I look at a man's face and eyes before I look at his bod."

But you haven't allowed us that initial glimpse at your eyes or face, you have chosen to feature the 'bod' from lower lip to right nipple. Still seems a little backwards to me.

PhxAriz08 saidIn my opinion... Looks play no part in life for any reason. Most especially not for attraction. Attraction comes from personality only, the face and the body play no part ever.

A guy's face is the FIRST thing most of us look at and notice.
Beyond that, the body is next; for me that is a smooth, clean shaven THIN to average build,

Well looks are certainly the first thing you notice if you don't know the individual.... how else would you notice them if you didn't seem them (other than phone calls or e-mail.)

I know what I like. If I see a guy its then the personality that makes me really interested. The looks are only a portion of the whole, if the personality is a dud... its no sale (er so to speak).

There are even men on here that look nice, but I've sensed that their personalites wouldn't jive with mine.

    I agree with that.
I joke around with some str8 guys at work about this. We have this woman who has an awesme bod, but her face and teeth are jacked. So we call her a butterface or butterhead, like everything is hot, butta face.

I can deal with a mediocre body if it's attached to a very pleasant face. I'm a sucker for a cute face. But if there's an awful face (even on a damn hot body), he better have the best personality in the world to make up that deficit.

The thing I don't understand even in the slightest are those guys on Craigslist who post a picture of their cock and nothing else. Do they really think I must know what their cock looks like but don't care to see their face or body?

I like a very slim, smooth body on a guy, but there have been two guys I've had a crush on who carried a good 20 or 30 extra pounds. But they had such great warm-hearted personalities, coupled with a smile that made me melt and a cute dimpled face... pardon me, I'm getting worked up.

I think ugly faces was the reason god invented the light switch...
Or I could make the face in the pillow joke. HAHA

But in all seriousness, I think it would be dishonest at least for me to say that face doesn't matter at all. I have dated people who didn't have the greatest bodies, but they were still attractive...to me. My friends and I talk about how we have different tastes in guys, one guys hotness is not another ones. Which works out well because we don't chase after the same guys!

Also the way I look at it is looks grab my attention, but your personality will keep it.

Definitely face first. You can always shape up your body it isn't that easy when it comes to the face--short of plastic surgery. Then you run the risk of looking like Burt Reynolds, Kenny Rogers or Bruce Jenner. UGGGH!!

Overall looks get you in the door, but to me those are face first, body second; let's face it -- abs are temporary, eyes are forever.

Once you're in the door, personality keeps you there.

While I think that a handsome face is nice, I'd choose a great body over a great face most anytime.
A great body is an accomplishment, a great face is genetics.

See...this is what I love about this place...bgcat and I are of completely opposing opinions, I'll stick by mine, but he's absolutely right. I never thought of it that way before.
