I find this VERY disturbing. I feel like the world I knew as a kid is being taken from me.

More questions about recording devices than security related issues?
Sorry, but that's not a mobile security screening device - It's an anti-piracy booth.
Such a crock of shit. icon_rolleyes.gif

Our world as we knew was forever changed after 911. I would rather have extra security measures in place than not.

Are you attempting to smuggle an explosive device into the event today? Are you attempting to (insert crime here).

Seriously? Who responds "normally" to these questions? The questions make people nervous. Never mind you are standing in an empty room with two people who are giving you commands.

    And it's a trailer.

So not much going for it.

And this is the idiotic response that's allowing them to take away our rights. You really don't deserve to live in a "free" country with that kind of attitude.

And the next time someone isn't checking everyone for explosives, firearms, etc and someone opens fire at a major event, I'm guessing you'll be in line to start bitching about security not doing enough to protect those same rights!

What exactly do you want for security? You're OK with everything wide open like it was when you were a kid? It's not the same era, things are not the same. You have more freedoms here with the efforts to derail lunatics than most countries have. I would think you'd be celebrating the freedoms you have instead of complaining about those who are trying to ensure you can continue to be free.

No one is trying to ensure our freedom! You don't ensure freedom by taking away rights. How can you be this blind?

Oh and what rights are they taking? Your right to do something illegal. You have all your rights, there's nothing taken away from you. Unless you're doing something illegal, what's the problem that they are trying to prevent an issue? You didn't answer my question. What exactly do you want for security?

We had TONS of security before 911 but they failed to implement it. 100% elimination of all attacks is impossible. All this is doing is making people feel oppressed. Thanks to The Patriot Act, they can come into your home and take you away and don't even have to notify your family. And it's all legal. No thanks. I'm going to die one day anyway...rather take my chances getting killed by some nut job with a box cutter than be interrogated just to go to a stupid concert.

Just because something is "illegal" doesn't make it justly so.

Truly we are living in "interesting times", and freedom is breathing its last gasping breaths, as she lies prone on the Altar of the God of Security, having been raped by the twin giants Fear and Ignorance.

Not according to Eb925guy. The Police are extracting your cell phone data as they drive behind you for you're own protection. Just do as you're told and walk in single file. They're just protecting us...

OMG, you're so full of it. You really think they give a rats ass about your cell phone? Only if you're suspected of something that violates the law. You're as bad as the rest of the kooks that think they're tapping everyone's phones and recording everyone's conversations.

And that little quote that you make alphatrigger is so cute. Seriously, where do you get this crap!

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I see your point now. So it's kind of like when a cop sees a dark skinned person driving an expensive car, they "suspect" that he probably stole it so at that point it's cool to extract his cell phone data. I get it now....

I love the show. I am pretty pissed, cuz CBS hasn't revealed the cast members yet...

    Hey Pup,

What rights are being taken away. Please list them!

Like one of the posters indicated unless you are doing something illegal, I don't see what the problem is dude!

Unlike you I'm mature enough to disagree with some one with out being insulting or your attempt to insult it being as weak as it is.

I would have guess someone your age would know better. So much for age being the gateway to wisdom and maturity.

    Bless your Heart!
