I know how this sounds, typically queer. However, I love performance pieces. But not any piece. Pop culture piece. For example, Lady Gaga's The Monster Ball tour was my everything. Pretty much every day I'll sit down and think up my own show. Then I'll write down songs for each acts. I would give anything in the world just to have a great voice, just so I could sing. Not for fame, but so I could become a true performer. I'd want bold, sophisticated shows that I would direct. Songs I've written, I'd be everything to my fans. And it's not just this though. I wish I could make movies, make stories. I'm so dedicated to my imagination. And I spend hours just sitting down day dreaming of stories. And it kills me that I'll never make that dream come true icon_sad.gif Most of all I just wish I could sing. Oh well, what are your dreams that will never come true?

I already made my dreams come true. All it takes is hard work, dedication, and patience.

This is my newest song I'm working on, it's about being lost in the game of life and peer pressure in society.

Her hands on her heart, solitude.
pieces of the puzzle, to her mind, lost in the game. Rebellion.
Her crys for help of no prevail she's on the road of derail. Rogue.

Shes walking the road, of becoming rouge. Baby, this is her rebellion. Pressure of the game, leaves her in substance of the fame. She's got no clue on how to walk alone again.

Go to any flight school and ask for an intro flight. They range between $50-100, and you're in the pilot seat. Flying was also one of my dreams that came true. icon_wink.gif

Your profile states you're only 18 - you're just starting. It seems a little early to be closing doors, dontcha think? With that kind of attitude, you're your own biggest obstacle.

If you want it bad enough, then chase after it and don't give up so easily. Kinda cliche but true.

Well, none of my dreams came true actually.. I wanted to be a successful musician and performer.. now I am a very good musician, and quite popular amongst the people who know me, yet making a living out of it is more like a nightmare with the spending interests of the public

Then I figured I could be a marine biologist to save the oceans... unfortunately, slim pickings on the job market there.... you are better off working in the fishing industry, and that does very little to save the oceans, rather destroys it

Finally, also was wishing I could work in the Amazon forest preserving it with the help of the native people's.... fat chance of that happening in this world where one person's pocketbook from destroying it is more important than the well-being of the people who live by keeping it intact....

Then finally I thought I could start an orphanage and raise kids from everywhere, and also work to help to keep our elderly and the mentally handicapped and injred animals well taken care of, by letting these kids learn to work for the well-being of their elders and the less fortunate and animals at an early age... but yeah, with my income, I can adopt a chicken or a goat at the most..

I was hoping to start a farm, with humanely treated animals, and sustainably and organically grown crops...

Thought I could go to war-stricken areas and help build peace and give hope to kids traumatised,...

Thought I could clean up all the plastic and oil that is hurting everything and everyone...

Thought I could at least find ways to get clean water to people, and to stop polluting what little water we have

Thought I could at least actually once fall in love and stay that way till death

Theres very little I wanted to do that I could ever do

So yeah.. "sigh"...icon_rolleyes.gif Im just waiting till the end of the world icon_smile.gif

Wow, Im feeling so inspired, I should write a song about this...

My dreams of bringing Interpretive Dance to the Olympics were dashed by a gruesome injury when I was 7.

The best I can say; it takes a vision, drive, ambition and tenacity to go after your dreams. It also requires an attitude knowing it may take some time and you may jump over hurdles as you proceed. What makes certain people actually achieved their goals is.... perseverance.

Not sure I have ever had any dreams (except to get a good job and my independence from my family).

Right now I would settle for one good night's sleep. Like the kind I used to get when I was a kid.icon_neutral.gif

I believe we can have dreams and perhaps we cantry all we can to make them come true but if they are not in line with God’s will for us they will lead us down the wrong path. We won’t always have all of them come true. There are a lot of rich and famous people who will tell you even though they have everything they want they are still the most miserable of people. However if you really want follow your dreams "believe in your dreams and they may come true; believe in yourself and they will come true”icon_wink.gif

Well I have dreams of being an astronaut, but not giving up on that yet. Haha!

Maybe you just need to immerse yourself in the right environment --> to keep you inspired (the easiest would be to join a choir or any musical group). Sometimes we lose track of our long term goals while getting stuck with work or just plain trying to survive life (yeah, I'm talking to myself now icon_smile.gif. Take small steps and keep track of your progress -> that way you know you are moving towards your goal.

You're never going to attain your dream if you aren't even trying icon_razz.gif. Dreams can change too you know. If you are not a good singer, take some lessons. Then go from there icon_smile.gif

I'll never be able to get my parents to accept who I am. I'll never be able to be a dentist because there are way too many obstacles ahead. I've had a hard time to accept these things but once you realise that you can't change them, you can then focus on the things that you can do. You can be happy in life without focusing just on YOUR dreams. Moping around about things you can't do it pointless.

And why exactly can't you make movies or stories? You can still do those things. Or do you want to make world renowned moves/stories? You have access to your imagination and a computer- I think that's enough to start your stories.

Buy your own de-armed fighter jet. It's more fun when you're not getting shot at anyway.
