Update: They have taken the poll off the main page, so I assume that voting is over. The final result: 61% Yes and 39% No. Awesome. Thanks guys!

    Hi guys,

I live in Cincinnati, a socially awkward city where people still whisper the word gay. Our news station is polling people to see if they support gay marriage. I would love to make the yes votes skyrocket, and make all the people in Cincinnati squeal in shock.

Simple, 14 seconds of your time:

    1. Go to http://www.wlwt.com/news/28367924/detail.html#ixzz1QfZIBSAS
    2. "Should Ohio legalize same-sex marriage?" Vote yes (or however you wish).
    3. Post a comment here to keep it circulating. Done.
    4. Crack open a beer to celebrate.

Thanks! It's been hovering around those numbers. I'm hoping to speed ahead. I think the "gay poll" spirit has seized me. I'm obsessed. Lol.

Thanks guys! They're gaining on us, though.

    Yes: 52%
    No: 48%

We need more men! (If I had a dollar for every time I said that).

    Voted!

I cannot understand anyone voting No icon_confused.gif

They should run another poll, "Are you a bigot?" and see whether the percentages are that close!

Just voted - thanks for posting this. I'm still in shock that I can now get married in NY. (Plus I'm sad that this is the first Pride I had to miss b/c I'm traveling for work).

    Hope Ohio follows NY!

I tested this actually. If you vote twice, the vote counter doesn't go up. I.e, it doesn't include your vote. But, if you go in and clear your browsing history it does. icon_smile.gif I only voted twice once though. I still want to play by the rules...kind of.

Ha! I know, and I even teach statistics. In the disclaimer, the poll warns that this is NOT a scientific poll. Hey, I figure if the conservatives are (mostly) using a biased book to influence (a book that is full of polygamy, by the way), then...well...we can have a little fun with a poll. icon_smile.gif

The important question is, did you vote?

    We are holding steady around:

    52% Yes
    48% No

I've been watching the No's rise as fast as the Yes', so we need more men!

It should be noted that the psycho local conservatives, from Chris Littleton to Chris Smithermann, are probably on there voting repeatedly, wanking themselves all the while.

I am just southwest in Louisville. Lord knows KY will be the LAST state to legalize this!

    Godamnit!

We're still holding poll position at 52% with 934 votes, the psycho are 4% behind us with a 67 vote difference.

Vote people vote! We need leave them in the dust, curled up in a ball in the centre of the ruin and smoking desolation that is their life and unevolved values!!!
