so besides the fact i hate my big stomach and waist line, I REALLY HATE the size of my big thighs, they are huge and I know that you cannot spot reduce with exercises, but my concern is does low weights high rep exercises help slim down the thighs and does cardio at a steady pace for like 40-60 minutes really help while i do high weights low rep exercise for the upper body. does this sound like a good workout routine

Leave them like they are, honey. images_212164587137516b2989c0448b3219e0.

First of all, don't hate anything on your body because being "thin" doesn't guarantee you anything. Second, big thighs are hot and turn plenty men on, not just me. You'll always be beefy....probably. Include a leg work out once or twice a week in your routine and muscle those thighs up a bit, but trust me, it's a thing of beauty to have them there. As you build your upper body and midsection, they'll lift on their own so concentrate on your midsection and upper body. Extreme cardio and lots of it is about the only thing I can think of that would "get rid of" your thighs and ASS, but let me know now if that's your plan so I can personally destroy every Tread Mill and Elliptical on the planet.

Um... what he said, but I'm going to assume that you're going for more of a slim build, which your workout works perfectly. Just remember to shock your body and switch up your work out routine and eating habits every once in awhile. Like go from 6 small meals to 8 smaller meals per day, and do sprints instead of straight up jogging/walking. Good luck, Chris.

i agree with the above poster... i have tree trunk legs, and big calf muscles and as much as i would love to fit in a pair of "skinny jeans" i'll never be able to.

and i'll never understand why people always compliment my legs, i've always been attracted to skinny legs :/

^ I used to wear skinny jeans to church. icon_lol.gif I've always been a loyal fan of boot cut and now that I have some big-ass calves, I'll never look back.

The only way your exercise will slim down your thighs with exercise is if you break down muscle tissue and fail to rebuild it. Like the guys have said, don't.
There are however two things you can do to reduce your thighs: fix what you eat or fix what you eat. And that only works if you have fat to spare. (Fix by eating paleo, make sure you feel full at meals, skip meals at the beginning or end of the day if it is going too slowly)
