I have no idea. I just eat every two hours on bulking weeks, and every three hours on cutting weeks.

I always shudder when I hear people say they eat 3000 calories, having been anorexic for most of my life. Sadly, it's usally close to 1000.

I don't know the calories but I do eat something every few hours, and on leg days I feel hungry almost all the time. My protien intake would be about 130 grams.

Can't imagine there would be too many carbs, but the sodium content is enough to make your blood pressure go through the roof icon_wink.gif

Well, after talking to a personal trainer 2 weeks ago, my numbers are 276 protein and 276 carbs. My daily caloric intake is 2,800. So, 2,208 calories come from protein and carbs, with the rest obviously coming from fat. I am trying to bulk up, so lets see how this goes.

I don't bother counting calories or grams of protein anymore. After working out for so many years, I have a pretty good idea of how much food my body needs. And the types of foods my body doesn't need, but wants. icon_lol.gif

If you go by the average, you'll be highly disappointed.

I agree with you paulflexes. Height, weight, gender, age and activity level all affect your caloric and protein needs. I think 2,000 calories is a rough average of what people eat in a day.

I learned from a friend that depending how much in pounds you weight, you must eat that amount in grams of protein. So I weight 140lbs, so my daily protein should be 140g

I don't count calories, just protein and fat grams.

~ 170-180 grams of protein per day
and no more than ~100 grams fat per day
