I am using it now. About to start my fourth week. I feel leaner and I think I look slightly better. Some days are rougher than others.

A friend of mine is doing it... Says it's a million times more extreme that P90X (which I have never been a fan of). Do it!

P90X and Insanity are completely different workouts aimed at achieving very different goals.

I just started it and not so sure it is right me. Being non-stop cardio will definitely get you in shape, but not so sure all the jumping is good in the long run on the joints. I am findng it hard to regulate my breathing. Trying to decide if I want to continue of just go back to running and ab work.

I admire anyone who can stick to these programs. They sure do look slick on TV and I can see why people buy them. Hats off to you! I hope you achieve the desired results.

I am down to the last two days of the nine week Insanity program and even without following the eating plan that comes with it, I've lost over 11 pounds of fat and gained about two pounds of muscle.

It isn't for everybody. You have to be prepared to work hard balls to the wall for about 45 minutes to an hour a day but if you are consistent I can't see how you won't shed some fat. I still don't have a six pack but definitely have more ab definition than 9 weeks ago.

But, if you are looking to bulk up this is not a good option. I've lost a little size in my arms but the muscles I have seem smaller and denser. If you want to get ripped and don't mind an extremely intense workout, I highly recommend it.

One more thing, if you have any knee or back problems this probably isn't a good option. I also dont see it as something to do year round but maybe a couple 9 week periods a year when you are looking to shed fat.

Any questions about my experience with it, just email me. icon_smile.gif

I just finished day 8 of my second try. Last time I got 6 days in and then work messed up my schedule and I fell off the wagon. It's really kicking my ass. The past two years I've gotten really out of shape with school and then work. I couldn't even finish the fit test. That showed me how much I needed to do something to get my ass off the couch. I do notice that I'm able to do more in this little bit of time. Haven't seen any difference yet, but I wouldn't expect to this early on. My problem is the diet. I'm rarely home, working 80 hr/wk, so I'm just trying to be smarter about my choices and portion control.

I tried P90X with a friend last year and it just wasn't for me. Maybe after some insanity I'll try again. I wish they had someone other than Tony doing P90, lol. He's just a little irritating for me.
    Here's to another 52 days!
