I'll have to accept blame for this. I've been a bit (well a lot) flatulent lately and the winds from here in Jersey have brought my cloud of methane around the globe. I was aiming for China, but, ooops, look like I missed. Sorry, England. I'll get you yet, China!

Haha, some of my friends are probably partially responsible for that, they're dairy farmers in Western France! lol

But I'm going to London in a few weeks, hopefully the smell won't linger!

Obviously the real problem is in the European government's practice of dictating terms to farmers. It's rare to find a politician who knows anything about farming.

What?! You mean Senators from the Midwest don't know what they're talking about? Surely, you must have not have read the Farm Bill. After all, it's a paragon of sound and virtuous policy!

(please read sarcasm into all of that)

I've recently noticed a bad sewage smell around Malta too, could we be affected by this too? Hmm... icon_biggrin.gificon_lol.gificon_razz.gificon_wink.gif

Well I live in London and I never noticed any bad smell.

Anyways I don't really consider animal manure a bad smell, having come from a rural(ish) area. It's the smell of something being put back into the soil, so is considered just one of those things.

Yeah, I don't classify manure as 'stinky'.

Overpowering maybe. But not that bad. icon_razz.gif

The worst smell I've ever encountered ever is city sewage. And rotten eggs. icon_razz.gif
